The Team
Our team is made up of 5 members. We all attend the Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester and are in years 11-13. Here is a bit about each team member.
Barney is the team leader. He is resposible for making sure everyone is on track and bringing the project elements together. He also secured our sponsorship.
Joel is the Graphical designer. This job involves creating the pit display and bringing together the portfolio so that our team image is consitent through all our work.
Luke is the Electronic engineer. This meant he designed and manufactured the electronic board we have in the car. To do this he also had to program in several languages for our prototypes.
Matthew is the Mechanical engineer. His job was to design and manufacture the chassis and suspension on the car. He used lots of CAD work to prototype and test the parts before making them and assembling them.
Stephen is the Design engineer. For this job role, he had to design the body. He then needed to manufacture the body as well as decorate it suitable so it was aesthetically pleasing.
